Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti surpasses the famous Titan X while costing $500 less.

Nvidia is taking advantage of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), currently held in San Francisco, to present the world's most powerful graphics card: the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti comes with 11GB of GDDR5X memory, and with 11GB of frame buffering it is designed for 4K gaming, surpassing the GTX 1080, and Titan X.

Like the Titan X, the 1080 Ti use 3,584 of NVIDIA's CUDA cores. The GTX 1080, by comparison, has 8GB of memory and 2,560 CUDA cores.

"Ti is 35 percent more powerful than the GTX 1080," says NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang.

And most of all, it's half as cheaper, since it costs $ 700, and will be available from March 10.
