Facebook continues to spoil Snapchat with the launch of Messenger Day
Facebook continues to spoil Snapchat with the large-scale launch of Messenger Day, the equivalent of ephemeral Messaging Stories.
Facebook has just gone a step further in cloning with the large-scale launch of Messenger Day, the copy of the Snapchat Stories. The principle is simple: take photos, add them to your Story Day, and everyone can see them for 24 hours before they disappear.
The application also allowing to share your day with only certain people or even to choose only those who will not see it.
Photos can be added directly after capture, by selecting "Add to your day" when sending the snapshot, or from conversations by clicking the "Add to your day" button under the photos. It should also be noted that a photo can be removed at ny time.
Facebook Messenger Day is being deployed on Android and iOS but does not seem yet accessible to everyone. It's just matter of hours or days before this new feature is present on all smartphones.
