MWC 2017: Sony Xperia Touch a projector that turns any support into a touch screen
Sony is not only presenting its range of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress, the Japanese manufacturer also announces the marketing of a projector Called Xperia Touch.
This is not the first time Sony has shown us a strange little projector running on Android that turns any flat surface into a touchscreen. The interactive projector offers multi-touch support and can project a 23-inch HD image into most surfaces.
The home screen displays the weather, family calendar, and text or video format memos. An optimized interface allows you to launch family games, watch videos on YouTube or use some instant messaging services.
Sony uses SXRD projection display technology for fast response times and can record videos at 60fps thanks to its 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera.
The Xperia Touch runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, packs a 3GB of RAM, and offers 32GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C, NFC, and HDMI Type-D. Priced at EUR 1,499.
