MWC 2017: Samsung Annouces a New Gear VR with a Controller!
Samsung unveiled its new Gear VR at its opening conference of the MWC 2017. A Gear VR equipped this time with a controller.

Always realized in partnership with Oculus, this new generation Gear VR brings us a controller for, according to Samsung, to take full advantage of the experience of virtual reality.This remote reminds us with the HTC Vive with a TouchPad, two buttons, a trigger and volume keys. It works with 2 AAA batteries for about 80 hours depending on Samsung.
A joystick with buttons, of course, but also a tactile pad to navigate between the different applications offered by the platform.
Moreover, the headset comes with 42 mm lenses for a Field of View of 101 degrees. It supports both micro USB and USB Type-C, for compatibility with Note 5, S7, S7 Edge, S6 + Edge, S6 Edge and S6. Finally, we didn't get any information concerning the price or the release date.
