MWC 2017: Huawei presents its very stylish P10 and P10 Plus

After LG,now it is the Huawei's turn to announce its new smartphone, the P10 and P10 Plus. Certainly ,a device with elegant curves, but presents a simple evolution of the P9.

It has become a tradition with Huawei: the beginning of the year is reserved for the P range and the end of the year for the Mate range. At the end of February, it is not surprising to see the Huawei P10 being announced by the Chinese brand.

A design that reminiscent of the P9

Huawei P10 is a very classic appearance smartphone. It takes the forms of the Huawei P9. This is a 5.1-inch smartphone (and 5.5-inch for the P10 Plus) with a full HD screen and a unibody metal shell to prevent fingerprints. The P10 Plus opts for a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Main aesthetic modification: the fingerprint sensor is now on the front and not on the back. It is only 7 mm thick.

There is not much new in design. Like the P9, P10 Huawei is a very stylish smartphone, the screen borders are very thin. Its screen has a Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is also resistant to water and dust since it has the Ip 68 certification.

At the rear, we still find, as on the P9, a dual photo sensor and the Leica logo. The first one deals with color (12 Megapixels) while the second deals with black and white (20 megapixels). They are not from Leica, the German photography brand still dealing with the software aspect only. The sensor is fully inserted in the back and does not exceed.

It now has a Summilux goal that opens at F/1.8 against F/2.2 for the P9. This is the main change compared to its little brother. It now manages the video in 4K.

Specifications are also of great classicism. The Huawei P10 boasts a Kirin 960 SoC associated with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Some versions of the device can also offer up to 256 GB. It also has a microSD port. Its battery should also be generous since Huawei announces a capacity of 3200 mAh for the P10 and 3750 mAh for the P10 Plus. Both will be compatible with fast charging technology and also will have the new version 5.1 of EMUI, which highlights the learning machine to always optimize the performance of the phone compared to its user.

It should also be noted that the P10 Plus is the first smartphone compatible with the 4.5G. It manages all the necessary 4G bands, even the 700 MHz.
