More Security From WhatsApp!
WhatsApp now deploys dual authentication for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.
The two-step verification was implemented in order to improve the security of its users on different platforms. The new feature is optional, but WhatsApp strongly recommends to enable it to seek more user's privacy.
You can use the feature by going into account settings. The application will ask you to create a six-digit password which will be prompted each time you attempt to register your phone's number with WhatsApp.
It is also possible to give a backup email address to in case of forgetting the code.
WhatsApp will occasionally ask you for the six-digit password. Maybe a bit annoying, but a good way to really secure your connection.
