Honor V9: 5.7-inch smartphone Quad-HD Ultra thin with a dual photo sensor and a solid battery

Honor unveils a new Android smartphone. Here is its V9, a large format model with a good configuration.



The brand, behind which is the Chinese group Huawei, has indeed not scrimped in terms of technical characteristics.

Thin of 6.97 millimeters and available in blue, black, gold or red, the Honor V9 smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch screen in 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection glass and will therefore be a perfect companion for experiencing virtual reality. The onboard processor, the octa-core of the Kirin 960 platform up to 2.4 GHz (4 A73 at 2.4 GHz + 4 A53 at 1.8 GHz, in a big.LITTLE architecture) is backed up by 4 or 6 GB of RAM.


The rest of the Honor V9 specifications are: a dual 12-megapixel f/2.2 photo sensor with dual-tone laser autofocus and back flash (for 3D capture or Bokeh effect), a biometric sensor just below it and a Storage space 64 or 128 GB. It is finally a 4000 mAh battery that will power the whole (against 3,500 mAh for the predecessor) and a duo Android 7.0 Nougat + Emotion UI 5.0 that will be proposed at the output of the box.

Availability is announced for 28 February with a choice of three configurations 4 GB + 64 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB sold the equivalent of 360, 410 and 480 dollars.
