Facebook will compete LinkedIn by launching job offers!
The social network will soon allow companies to post job offers on their Facebook page, and individuals to respond. Features reminiscent LinkedIn, which will first be available in the United States and Canada.
Always looking for growth opportunities, Facebook diversifies and increases the features, not hesitating to encroach on the competitors field. After attacking Snapchat and declined in pro version with Workplace By Facebook, the social network of Mark Zuckerberg puts again LinkedIn in its viewfinder.
Indeed, the social network will propose new features related to professional recruitment. The service, tested in the last quarter of 2016, will initially be reserved for the United States and Canada. Thereafter it should be extended to other countries. Concretely, companies will be able to publish job offers on their Page, users who follow it will then have the opportunity to apply by clicking on a button.
Facebook offers an application form which can be filled in with the information on your personal account. It will then be transmitted to the company via Messenger. The exchanges with the candidate will be made either by chat or by mail. These new features should delight Microsoft who recently finalized the acquisition of LinkedIn for $26.2 billion.
