Snapchat is finally launching the universal search

Since the launch of Snapchat, the service suffered from a big problem, it is very difficult to find accounts likely interest us. But with its latest update, Snapchat is finally launching the universal search.

Up to this update, accounts could be added by scanning their snap codes or by directly entering usernames published on other social media. Snapchat had also added an opportunity to add suggested accounts, accounts mainly tracked by your own contacts, but this function is very limited.

Now, a search bar will make it easier to discover other Stories and simply add accounts or content creators. This update also makes it easier to access contacts to chat, whether it's individual accounts or groups of friends.

This should probably allow the social network to attract new users in the coming months.

The update is being deployed on Android and should soon arrive on all Android and iOS.
