MWC 2017: Sony and LG give the dates for their announcements

Just a few steps from the MWC to be held as every year in Barcelona, the manufacturers are going from their teasers to prepare for the arrival of their new products.

After Vernee and Lenovo, which should reveal the Apollo 2 (first Helio X30 smartphone) and the Moto G5 Plus (model 5.5 inch Full HD Android Nougat), it is the turn of LG and Sony to communicate their dates for MWC 2017.

The South Korean group evokes a conference on February 26 at 12:00 which should reveal the new flagship G6. Not modular unlike the current G5 (low demand), it promises a big screen (apparently 5.7 inches 18/9 in QHD +) and a waterproof design. Including logically an Android ROM Nougat.

The Japanese company plans its conference for February 27 at 7:30 am UTC. Expectations include Xperia X models that could offer a MediaTek Helio P20 chipset, HD or Full HD display, 23 megapixel photo at the rear or 16 megapixels at the front and storage up to 64 GB. We know in any case that the mini-jack will always be part, the manufacturer intending to keep it until 2018. Android Nougat will obviously be included.
