CES 2017: ZTE Annouces the Blade V8 Pro with Dual Camera!
The Chinese manufacturer ZTE was also at CES 2017 to announce the arrival of the Blade range to the US. It took the opportunity to unveil a new model, the Blade V8 Pro.
ZTE has introduced its new smartphone the Blade V8 Pro. With this product, ZTE wants to enter the North American market since for the first time, a device of the ZTE Blade range will be marketed in the United States.
-A competitor of the Honor 6X:
This entry-level smartphone features 5.5 inches Full HD IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor (Cortex-A53 octa-core clocked at 2.0 GHz and an Adreno 506 Graphic chip). 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
these specs are very similar to Honor 6X announced by Huawei a few day ago for Europe, which should make the Blade V8 Pro a real competitor.
The dual 13 megapixel photo sensor is included as well, but the manufacturer does not go into the technical details of the cameras so it will be hard to compare with the 12 megapixel dual camera of Honor 6X.
For the rest, we can note the integration of USB Type-C (USB 2.0) and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual brand, which is still quite rare on this price range. The 3140 mAh battery could be recharged quickly with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. A fingerprint sensor is also included in the home button.
Like all the smartphones announced in Las Vegas show, or almost, ZTE chose to use the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We hope that the manufacturer will soon offer an update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
-Price and availability:
The phone will be available in the US starting January 18th, at $229,98
