CES 2017: New Dell Inspiron 14 and 15, PC Gamer with GTX 1050 Starting at $799

The new Dell Inspiron 14 and 15 series 7000 should appeal to those looking for good machines to play at a budget price. The US manufacturer has unveiled at CES 2017 a nice update of its mid-range, with elements taken from Alienware.

Let's start with the design of the new Dell Inspiron 14 and 15 7000. It clearly looks like a PC gamer with straight lines, its black frame with red notes and backlit keyboard of the same color. It seems that Dell has picked up some elements that PC gamers enjoy at its Alienware brand.

Following Nvidia's announcement of its GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti GPUs in laptops, the manufacturers were able to present their equipped machines. Thus, in the models 14 and 15 inches of the GTX 1050, with an option for the Ti version on the larger model.

Add to this, Intel Core i5 processor 7300HQ or Core i7 7700HQ latest generation (Kaby Lake), 4 to 32 GB RAM, and you have machines able to run any game in 1080p at 60 FPS in medium or high settings depending on the titles.


All this for a really interesting price that starts at $799 for the Inspiron 14, and $899 for the Inspiron 15 which is equipped in this way to its original configuration: 1080p Full HD, Intel Core i5 7300HQ, GTX 1050, 4 GB of RAM and 1 TB of hard disk at 5400 TPM. The 4K display (3840 x 2160 pixels), the Core i7, GTX 1050 Ti and SSD (from 128 to 512 MB) make up the bill.


Only the connectivity does not evolve with three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0, headphones and microphone jacks, an SD card reader and an Ethernet RJ45 port. The two laptops will be available for sale tomorrow in the United States.
