CES 2017: Kingston Releases the Biggest USB in the World with 2Tb of Storage!

The storage device manufacturer, Kingston, has just broken a new record with a 2 Terabyte USB flash drive. Now the brand has the biggest USB stick in the world.

-More space than a hard drive:

It is at CES 2017, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas, that Kingston unveiled a new USB flash drive named Data Traveler Ultimate GT with a storage capacity of 2Tb, the first in the world. Moreover, this storage space is hidden under a small zinc body that resists very well to falls. The USB stick dimensions are the following: 72 x 26,94 x 21 mm, a true technological prowess.

It can operate at extreme temperatures from -25 to 60 degree. It is also guaranteed 5 years with assistance included.

it is compatible with Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Mac OS 10.9.x, Linux 2.6.x and Chrome OS. However, it does not use a USB Type-C connector, but a USB 3.1 Type-A to ensure a fairly fast transfer rate.
 to give an idea about the storage, 2terabytes allow you to store up to 40h of Video in 4K

Actually, this USB exist also in 1 terabyte version. Both models will be available in the United States from February 2017. For Europe, it will take a little longer to come. As for the price, it is still a mystery.
