CES 2017: Fly like Superman using the Hypersuit VR
The french company Theory, presented its prototype of Hypersuit at CES 2017. It's a technology mixing a VR headset and an exoskeleton that simulate the movements in the air.
What Theory showed is nothing more than a way to integrate even more immersion into the virtual reality games and gives you the impression of flying.
The exoskeleton of the Hypersuit is a kind of reclining bench on which the player lie down. the movements of his body will then tip the Hypersuit which will communicate the movement to the virtual simulation.
The player's position is perfect for games positioning the character in the air. As the machine is particularly voluminous, the company designs the Hypersuit plus in the perspective of using it at the arcade more than for private use at home.
