Xiaomi Yi 4K+: The World's First 4k 60 FPS Action Camera!

Xiaomi will reveal the first action camera capable of filming in 4K at 60 fps, and will also introduce a drone, the Erida, which will bring a higher autonomy than its competitors.

Xiaomi should announce a new handheld camera with wide-angle the Yi 4K+, successor of the Yi 4K would be the first action camera capable of filming in UHD at 60 frames per second, against 30 FPS for its competitors.

-A 4k 60 fps camera!

For the time being, there is just a few information about this new action cam of the Chinese manufacturer. However, the possibility of filming in 4K at 60 FPS along with a "good" price should beat the GoPro Hero 5 Black, which is limited to 4K 30 FPS like all its competitors.

For its first Yi 4k, the Chinese company used a Sony sensor. If it is still the case for the Yi 4K+, we can assume that Sony will introduce a UHD 60 FPS action camera in the next CES as well. The Japanese company has indeed a catalog of action cameras such as the FDR-X1000V, or the FDR-X3000R released a few months ago.

The 4k 60 FPS allows you to make fast, smooth shots, or to perform slow motion shots with the highest image quality possible.

-Xiaomi will also introduce a Drone:

To accompany this new wide-angle camera perfectly, Xiaomi also planned to introduce its first drone, the Erida. It would be the fastest drone of the moment (for public buyers), up to 120km/h
The Erida would also benefit from a great autonomy of 40 minutes (surely thanks to its carbon frame), against only 28 minutes for the DJI Phantom 4 for example.
