The most intensive applications on Android

A ranking of Android applications with the most impact on the smartphones resources: autonomy, storage space, and data consumption.

This type of report was formerly published by AVG. It is now available by Avast, which bought AVG, and is based on a sample of anonymous data collected from more than 3 million Android users in the world.

The data was collected between July and September 2016. The report only focuses on Google Play Store applications with a minimum sample size of 50,000 user incidents. The criteria considered are the greatest impact for battery life, storage space occupancy and average data consumption on a cellular network.
