The Chinese space agency wants to be the equal of NASA in 2030 by going to Jupiter

China is multiplying its space mission projects and no longer hides its ambition to become one of the most active nations in the world by 2030.

As a result of its years of growth and its intention to become a great technological nation, China has found a new ambition: to become one of the largest space powers, if not the largest, with ambitious exploration missions.

CNSA,(China National Space Administration), the Chinese space agency, is preparing a series of missions that will enable China to realize its first spatial steps, from the landing of a module on the hidden face of our satellite from 2018 to sending probes to Jupiter.

A white paper has been published to draw up a plan of battle over the next five years and bringing China into the club of space powers. It is about exploration of asteroid and the discovery of Jupiter and its environment, showing that the country is no longer satisfied with the approach of the terrestrial system.

Recognizing its backwardness from NASA US, European ESA or Russian Roscosmos, CNSA wants to implement major projects and make its own contributions, such as the exploration of Mars by rover in 2020.

At the same time, the sending of Chinese astronauts continues with the occupation of the Tiangong 2 space laboratory, pending the creation of a Chinese space station. For its programs, the CNSA intends to rely on public / private partnerships, similar to what is done in the West, even with a share of foreign investment.
