Sony gives its opinion on the Nintendo Switch

In a recent interview, Shuhei Yoshida - CEO of Sony Worldwide Studios - gave his opinion on the next Nintendo console, the Switch.

A few days before, the Nintendo Switch was the subject of a new presentation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In parallel, Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Worldwide Studios, gave his opinion about the future console, through an interview with Digital Spy site.

"I think it's a very unique system. It's very interesting that they've designed the system to work well with more conventional games in terms of inputs and buttons. So I think it's good for core gamers and their marketing message focused on that." he announced.

Presumably, Yoshida seems convinced by the design of the Nintendo hybrid console, in particular because of the way of playing.

"I think they're going to cover a new market for themselves." he answered, when asked if he saw the Switch as a competitor in hardware sales.

What do you think of the impact that the Switch will have? Can we consider the switch as a competitor of the PS4? Or Nintendo wants to develop a new strategy? Embrace the console wars in the comments section below.
